Manual 'Slow-Rise' Blinds

This blind is the flagship in our range of night blind systems. Faults that became apparent over the years and still found in other manufacturers products have been eliminated to ensure it is at the 'cutting edge' in terms of design and technology.

When closed down, these blinds can be released and will rise independent of any guided hand and dramatically reducing user operating time.

Manufactured as complete modular units that are factory set and tested, these blinds are ready to use after snapping them in place into pre-fitted brackets.

Components are all purpose designed...

(a) Instead of using domestic type springs ours are to industrial specification and lock into a roller tube that is specially profiled so that the spring head can never dislodge and subsequently lose its tension as so frequently happens with other night blinds.

(b) The fitting rail is scalloped so that it can still be easily clipped into the 'snap-fit' brackets, even if large headed screws have been used.

(c) Two types of end brackets are available in two different sizes.

  1. A one piece injection moulded bracket that is now predominantly used on a range of blinds we manufacture for use in an outside environment.
  2. A powder coated 2mm thick metal bracket that has the facility to increase or decrease the tension of the spring without dismantling the blind.

This has been acclaimed as an innovative breakthrough by all installers...

Whilst all blinds are factory tensioned, they are only usually tensioned for 'free-fall' unless otherwise specified. So this doesn't account for times when blinds come over an edge creating friction that slows the blind down further. You can now customise your night blind and fine tune it to a particular installation by turning the screw in the end cap with a flat bladed screwdriver.

(d) Bottomrails and Handles. There are a variety of hold down methods available. The most popular uses a magnetic strip or one piece injection moulded plastic loop handle with hook and reciprocating anchor. We have variations of hook to suit round poles and slotted lower panels or up-stands together with solutions for holding down on 'roll-in' cabinets and 'serve-overs'.

Eco-Spring Blinds

So called because it's function, design and purpose of use is eco-friendly together with it being our most economical system.

The blind boasts the same type of spring locking roller tube, low emission reflective fabric and hold down methods but without the extras of a braking system and modular fitting rail.

Two end brackets are provided. When fitting, the spring locates onto a projection on the bracket at the one end and the blind is secured into position at the other by pushing in on the telescopic pin in the end plug.
