Security Shutters

In the event that you should require extra safeguards against petty pilfering from your chilled display cabinets, we can offer you the following:

(a)Roller shutters constructed of aluminium lath that is foam filled for extra insulation. These have a top box that is usually 165mm in height that needs to be accommodated on top of the cabinet. They can be secured with either a key lock or can be motorised.

(b)Gravity up and over plastic tambour system. These shutters roll over the top of the cabinet and when open the lathes are located at the back of the cabinet. The action relies on gravity and the shutter curtain is propelled over two rollers normally sited on top of the cabinet. Locking is by a central pincer lock.

(c) Roller blinds with locks. If it's just a deterrent you are after then we can manufacture our standard blind to include a central claw lock or a motorised blind and the fabric and bottom rail runs down through fabricated aluminium side channels to close off the sides.

All of these solutions usually require consultation in the initial stages with one of our personnel and are best suited to cabinets with end walls without cut outs.
